Pricing: Current prices are confirmed at the time the order is accepted. All prices are quoted in US dollars, exclusive of taxes, duties, shipping and handling charges. Orders are subject to final acceptance by Northwest Life Science Specialties, LLC (NWLSS). Special pricing may apply for large orders, please inquire with one of our sales agents.
Payment: NWLSS accepts VISA/Mastercard charges and Purchase Orders on approved accounts. Purchase Order terms are net 30 days accepted from universities and corporate entities. Cancellations of Orders must be received prior to product shipment. Bulk and special orders may not be cancelable under the terms of any Special Order quotation and NWLSS reserves the right to refuse cancellation in these instances.
Late Charges: Late charges will be assessed on the 8th day after the due date if payment has not been receivd. Late charges are calculated as 2.5% per month from date of shipment. Additional charges will post each 30 days past due thereafter until payment in full is received.
Shipping: Orders shipping from NWLSS' Vancouver facility are F.O.B. Vancouver, WA, USA. Orders received before 12:00 PM PST Monday-Thursday are normally shipped the day they are received. Customs duty charges may also apply for international orders and are the responsibility of the customer/consignee when assessed. All NWLSS products are perishable at elevated temperatures and are shipped via air freight using DHL, FedEx or other suitable carrier. NWLSS will invoice shipping/handling charges in addition to regularly stated product list or quoted price. Please notify us immediately if there is any damage or if a shipment does not arrive in a timely manner.
Availability: NWLSS maintains some products in inventory while others are drop-shipped from original manufacturer. In either case, most items are in stock for immediate delivery. NWLSS will not knowingly receive an order for an item "out of stock" without informing the customer or purchasing agent. In the event an item is back ordered, sales orders are filled in the order they were received.
Returns: Customer must notify NWLSS within 48 hours of receipt of defective or damaged products, or said products will be deemed to have been accepted. A return authorization number will be required on all goods originating from NWLSS that a customer wishes to return.
Warranty: NWLSS makes every effort to ensure to quality of the products it sells or otherwise represents. NWLSS makes no warranty of any kind except that its products will meet our specifications at the time of delivery. No other warranty is expressed or implied regarding the fitness for use or merchantability of any given product. In some cases specifications may be subject to slight lot to lot variation so customers are encouraged to request lot specific specifications and/or provide lot specific information when speaking to NWLSS representatives about product quality issues. NWLSS's sole and exclusive liability with respect to defective products shall be the replacement of said products without charge or the refund of the purchase price following the return of said products in accordance with NWLSS return policy. NWLSS is not responsible for any contingent, incidental or consequential damages.
Safe Handling of Products: NWLSS products are for "Research Use Only". They should be handled by, and under the supervision of, qualified individuals with adequate training in laboratory safety, and familiarity with potential hazards and/or hazardous materials. Note: since information is often not complete regarding the potential hazards of "research materials" the absence or lack of a specific warning should not be taken as an indication of safety. By accepting delivery of a product, the customer is bound to acceptance of responsibility for proper handling, and accepts the liability for any loss or damage to persons or property that may result from its handling.
